Donal Trump is the President

2016 American Elections                                  11 Nov 2016

Donal Trump is the President

I always get a feeling who’s going to win in an election. I never been wrong, well, up to now. I was so sure of it I bet on it. I knew even from 18 months ago that Hillary Clinton was made for it. Finally, America was going to choose a women president not because she is a woman but she happens to be a woman. But I had a doubt and I just ignored it; I could not get a feeling that Donal Trump, if you disregard what he’s saying during the campaign, looked credible and might be chosen. I mean he is educated, majoring in Economics. He is more than well-off. Most important of all he loves his family and his country which makes him connect with people. I still had decided not give it much thought as I believed people are not that sense lacking of whom the best candidate is for their country. I mean who would choose someone who says going to build a wall over 1500 km length costing 12 billion, because there is a threat of few immigrants getting into the country illegally? Just proposing this would make him a “no” for most people I thought.

Believe it or not I was Hillary Clinton who has won the majority of the votes by over 2.2 Million. But just like George Bush, he too won the Presidency through the Electoral College, 4th time happening in the history of the US Elections. Some people been wanting the Electoral College to be abolished but they cannot as it in the US constitution just like gun laws which says ‘every citizen has right to bear an arm’. Changing the US constitution has never been tried in its 217 years of history and unlikely to do so as no president would receive the support of the Congress unless there is real and legitimate threat or benefit to the country by a mile.

World needs a leader

So, what can we expect for the future of the Unites States and the World in the next 4 years? We have seen what the absence of the US is doing to the World during the last 8 ways or too much presence is not healthy too as we have seen in Iraq. World does need a good leader, or be in a transitional period until one. As wrong leaders been taking the gap. Bashar Assad continue to have the support of Vladimir Putin since why he has able to lengthen his atrocities. In fact, every corrupt leader seems to have the support of Vladimir Putin and he is also threatening the peacefulness of Europe which makes the World even lesser safe place. So someone with strong voice needs to tell Russia to shut-up. Europe been wanting that kind of a leader. Unfortunately, Donal Trump is not that kind of a leader. Also China threatening Taiwan, not deceasing support of for North Korea and claiming ownership in the South China Sea. Most South East Asian countries feeling threatened by China. Obama’s thought of US absence would make the World much safer did not come true.

Will he do what he says?

There is this English proverb ‘the seat makes the man wiser’. So I’m hoping he will be matured as he takes the position and align himself with what is sensible. I already can see signs of that as with his recent meeting with Obama. He already decided not to scrap Obamacare entirely but keep some elements of it. I guess he is someone who is from and been living in the US’s largest city New York. And in big cities you do get a feeling that you’re in a bubble. You do disconnect with the rest of the Country.  Even he wants to go through with everything he says, it very unlikely as he would need to get the support of the Congress. He might use the Executive order but I could see he’s becoming much wiser as he is about to take the position but still it remains to be seen and the next 4 years definitely
does not look predictable at all.

Why there should be a 2nd referendum?

UK REFERENDUM Why there needs to be a 2 nd referendum? 1 st reason Turnover was under 75%. It was 72%. 2 nd reason It was not a clear choice. It was 52% not no argument 80% or 70% or 67.2% that was in 1975, that should represent broad majority of people with a clear choice. 3 rd reason Biased. It did not reflect the population. It did not reflect London, Scotland and Northern Ireland. It reflected only some part of the Country, and some part of the working population. I did not see scores of London reflected in this referendum. London, the beacon, the power house of United Kingdom was not reflected in the Referendum. Purely based on this reason can be enough. Results look as if it biased and if a survey, study or test resulted similar outcome it would be discarded. 4 th reason Naivety. It is not as important as the ones but there was naivety in the public. This public had no experience of a referendum before since 1975, that’s a generation long gap. And ...
NATO Cyber Alliance (NATOC) - A New Threat in our Global World - These days, there are many means to attack a country, whether by militarily, politically, indiscriminately, financially and the new threat on Cyberspace. Any kind of attack on another country should still be considered as an attack and responded in same manner. A country should be able to defend itself in any form of threat. Biggest cyber threat today coming from regimes such as N. Korea and current Russia regime and what country there will be in the future. We had seen them attacking emails, secret conversation, meddling democracy, creating fake accounts, stealing virtual documents. These are all cyber attacks and should be defined as, especially if sponsored by a Government. At the moment the West doesn't have protection to counter-act that. There will be many forms of cyber attack in the future. Most our lives are more and more reliant on cyberspace, whether shopping, banking, diagnosing, secret conversat...
